Got Liberty?

Got Liberty?

The federal government has its hands in almost every area of our lives. Our children and grandchildren will inherit a bankrupt nation run by an unaccountable bureaucracy.

Unless we take action!

Come to our Open House and show your support for an Article V Convention of States to restrict the power and jurisdiction of the federal government, effectively restoring liberty to "we the people."

Walk in the Founding Fathers' Footsteps - Yorktown

Save the Date!

Walk in the Founding Fathers' Footsteps Open House
June 14, 2017
6:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Yorktown Freight Shed
331 Water Street, Yorktown, VA

The Walk in the Founding Fathers' Footsteps (WFFF) event at the Yorktown Freight Shed will take place, rain or shine, on June 14, 2017. This will be the kick-off event of the Virginia WFFF Tour.

The Freight Shed is situated in the heart of the Yorktown waterfront and is less than half a mile from the historic home of Thomas Nelson Jr., a signer of the Declaration of Independence and a true American patriot.

Come join with other Convention of States (COS) supporters and take advantage of this opportunity to hear the latest news about the COS Project in Virginia and across the country. We want to grow our grassroots support through outreach at this Open House. Whether you can stay for just a short time or for the entire event, we could use your help to spread the word.

Watch the video below to get a glimpse of Yorktown and the Freight Shed. We hope to see you there. And bring a friend!

crossing

Commuters to Detour Due to
Railroad Repairs

CSX Railroad has scheduled closures of various railroad crossings beginning Saturday, May 20 for the next several weeks. The closures are necessary to allow for repairs to be completed on the crossings. The closures require traffic to be rerouted, and signage will direct travelers to the detour routes. Each crossing is expected to be closed for two days. The length of closing is dependent upon weather or other unforeseen issues.

The crossings to be closed and the start dates of the closings are as follows:

  • Industrial Park – May 20

  • Harpersville Road – May 30

  • Elmhurst Street – June 5

  • Yorktown Road – June 5
