| When I announced that I was running for the State Senate it was because the people of the Peninsula needed new leadership. After countless tax hikes, rising costs, and soft-on-crime policies that made our neighborhoods less safe, the people of the 24th Senate district are ready for citizen leadership that puts our community first.
I want to thank everyone who has placed their trust in me to represent them in Richmond.
Since our campaign announcement in March, we have raised $186,000 from 340 individual contributors. However, this is just the beginning. Our campaign efforts so far are evidence that our message of safe communities, lower cost of living, and putting the people of the Peninsula first is resonating. But we need to continue to get our message out.
