As a father and grandfather, I know that the best education my kids and grandkids received was around the dinner table. There, we were able to share life lessons, learn about what was going on in school, and develop new and better ways to increase our children's knowledge while in school. Now, when I hear some of the things being taught in classrooms, I am appalled! Then I heard that people didn't believe that parents had a right to know the curriculum... Enough is Enough! We need leadership that ensures parents have a voice in their children's education and I am ready to lead on it. Will you make a contribution of $200, $175, or $150 to ensure that parents never get shut out of the classroom? Parents are expected to take an active role in their children's education, help with homework, and reinforce learning techniques. Why are parents not allowed to be involved in what is going on in the classroom? When I am elected to the State Senate, I will ensure that parents are always allowed to be aware of the curriculum. Thank you for your continuing support, Sheriff Danny Diggs P.S. With a contribution of $150, $100, or even $75, you can send this dad and grandfather to Richmond to fight for parents' rights in the classroom. |
