[Peninsula-Patriots] Will you support lower energy costs?

If we fail to act against what we know is wrong, we are complicit with that wrong.

I hope you can attend the Energy for America rally next Monday in Yorktown!

Stand up for sound energy policy and send a message to Washington: it's time to explore domestic energy production!

Here are the details for the Yorktown stop:
Monday, October 31st at 5:30 PM
York County Courthouse Steps
300 Ballard St.
Yorktown, VA

Stop by and sign the bus or visit our activist hub and take action today!

Virginians are hurting; energy prices are climbing and government over-regulation is part of the reason. It is absolutely wrong that the government refuses to help struggling families and the unemployed by working to lower energy prices.
We deserve better.
Join Americans for Prosperity-Virginia and American Energy Alliance as we demand energy policies that make sense, lower costs, support American jobs and secures our energy independence.

I look forward to seeing you there!

Sincerely,
Trixie Averill
State Director

New Quarter Park remembers its roots on Saturday, Nov. 5, from 10 a.m. until noon when African-American historian Robert Watson will lead a Walk and Talk: Remembering the Forgotten.

Watson will remember the slaves who toiled on the land when New Quarter was an outlying farm attached to Carter's Grove plantation. The program will be held on a bluff where archeologists have uncovered a pre-1750 structure that was probably part of the farm overseer's house.

SPECIAL DISCOUNTED PRICE FOR BEN LOYOLA FUNDRAISER

Hello conservative friends,

Come say hello to our own Ken Cuccinelli !!!!!!

Upon request, I have been authorized to offer an "Fill in the name of your group here " special lower price of $40.00 for those of you who wish to RSVP at this time. Hopefully, this lower price may enable many more of you hard-working "grassroots conservatives" to be able to attend and show your support for Ben Loyola. Times are tough for many of us, and that is being recognized. If you forget to RSVP, just go to the reception table at the event and request the "Fill in the name of your group here " discount.

Checks are still payable to "Friends of Ben Loyola." Greg's Garrett's (the event location) address is 122 Sandbox Lane, Yorktown, Va., 23692. For more info you can email Greg at ggdirect@aol.com.

Please friends, if you can possibly afford to go, then please go! Ben is just within reach of winning this! If you cannot afford it, try to find some other way to help … volunteer, or whatever!

Feel free to forward this email around to your friends. This IS NOT about what district you live in, it's about getting a TRUE CONSERVATIVE with integrity elected and tipping the scales for a Republican majority in the Senate.

Your support, in whatever capacity you can help, is very deeply appreciated.

 Hope to see you there.
