Misprinted phone number in 2010/2011 Yellowbook

In the recently released 2010/2011 Yellowbook North Hampton Roads publication, covering Williamsburg and the Peninsula, the listings for Dominion Virginia Power's Newport News and Williamsburg offices are incorrect.
The correct phone number for Dominion Virginia Power is 1-888-667-3000. Please note this change in your Yellowbook for future reference throughout the year.
In addition, York County is asking citizens to please not call the first listed number, 890-3600, for any Dominion Virginia Power issues. That phone number is the county's Department of Fire & Life Safety direct line, and is not a call center associated with Dominion Virginia Power.
Again, all residents and businesses are asked to mark out the misprinted numbers included in the newly distributed 2010/2011 Yellowbook North Hampton Roads and write in 1-888-667-3000 as the correct phone number for Dominion Virginia Power. York County and Dominion Virginia Power thank everyone for their cooperation in this matter.

Moonlight & Music at New Quarter Park on Sept. 22
FOR RELEASE AT WILL
Come to New Quarter Park on Wednesday night, Sept. 22, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. for a Moonlight and Music jam session.
Join musicians and music lovers as they share old-time, blues, roots music and more in the picnic shelter area near the parking lot. Bring a guitar, fiddle, or other acoustic instrument and take a turn leading a tune or join in to jam with others. Instrumentalists at all levels and in all genres are welcome. The monthly jam sessions are led by local musician Joe Duggan.
Toe-tappers and music-loving listeners are also welcome. Bring a picnic supper. A limited number of folding chairs and picnic tables are available; there is plenty of room to spread your blanket or lawn chair under the trees. Water, soda, candy, and snacks are available in the park office. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed at the York County park.
New Quarter Park is located in upper York County at 1000 Lakeshead Drive near the Queen's Lake neighborhood. From the Colonial Parkway, exit at Queen's Lake, turn right, and then turn on Lakeshead Drive and follow the signs to the park. From Interstate 64, take exit 242, Route 199, toward Jamestown, and then exit onto Route 143 West. Travel to the first stop light at Penniman Road and turn right. Turn left on Hubbard Lane and travel to Lakeshead Drive. Turn right and follow the signs to the park.
