York County Summer Fun Program hosted "A Day in the Life of a Civil War Soldier" at Seaford Summer Fun Site.
Tim Green, education specialist with Endview Plantation, visited the Seaford Summer Fun Program in July. The program included a presentation of reproduction uniforms and artifacts. The living conditions endured by soldiers during the Civil War were a favorite topic of conversation. Participants enjoyed the stories Mr. Green shared and the hands-on experience with items from a Civil War soldier's backpack.
