It's Time to Make a Difference Make them count your vote in Virginia's First Congressional District There is a record number of Libertarian candidates seeking ballot access in Virginia this year. The Draper campaign is not asking for donations at this time (but you of course may at http://draperforcongress.com/help/donate) because just getting on the ballot under the onerous Virginia requirements is a make or break point in a campaign. If you want to see someone other than an uncontested big-government Republican incumbent run in the First Congressional District, we need you to take a few simple steps: 1. Download the petition form from http://draperforcongress.com/help/get-stuff and print out two (each one double-sided) 2. Give one to a spouse, friend, neighbor, etc. 3. Sign theirs 4. Have them sign yours 5. Have them both notarized (usually your bank provides this service for free). 6. Put them in the mail to the address on the petition form by the end of the month. Of course, we would love for you to have more than one other person sign the petition - the time to turn in petitions is getting close and we are still short of our goal. We will have petitioners at the Fredericksburg DMV on Friday, May 23rd, and at the Deltaville Seafood Festival on Saturday, May 24th. Depending on where in the district you live, come on out and meet the candidate, sign a petition, maybe even lend a hand. In the meantime, check out the campaign website at http://draperforcongress.com, the Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/XavianDraperForCongress, and Twitter @Draper4Congress Thank you, The Draper for Congress Campaign Team |
