It does not surprise me to tell you this: after repeatedly trying to deny that they would attempt to eliminate Right-to-Work, Democrats have just introduced a bill to completely abolish it in Virginia.
If this passes, it would be detrimental to Virginia businesses, consumers and employees.
It would allow unions to force workers to join a union as a condition of employment. This directly threatens your right to free association as a worker in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The consequences would be disastrous for employers and employees of all sizes — from mom-and-pop shops to larger companies — as the cost of doing business in our state would increase significantly and would actively encourage companies to move from Virginia.
As your State Senator, I have vigorously defended Right-to-Work, and I will continue to do everything in my power to protect it.
However, I need your help to effectively fight off the inevitable onslaught of cash the Democrats will pour into my district so I can continue representing you in the General Assembly. I am the most vulnerable Republican State Senator heading into 2027, and I need every dollar to fight back. |
