Market Days Fall Festival scheduled for Oct. 8

Typically held from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., this Market Days event will extend its hours to 3 p.m. and will include children's activities, hayrides, a pumpkin patch and hay maze, live musical entertainment, and chef demonstrations.
Members of The Flatland Bluegrass Band are scheduled to perform until 3 p.m.
The schedule for this special Market Days/Fall Festival will be:
· Market Days vendors and Local Artists open 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
· Entertainment by The Flatland Bluegrass Band 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
· Children's Hay Maze (sponsored by Ben & Jerry's) 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
· Pumpkin Patch 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
· Chef Demonstrations by The Revolt Restaurant 9:30 a.m. & 11 a.m.
· Children's Caterpillar Crawl & Activities 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
· Hayrides (sponsored by Viccellio Goldsmith & Studio Foray) 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
· Face Painting (sponsored by Riverwalk Restaurant) 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The market features local produce, fresh seafood and meats, baked goods, gourmet herbs, coffee, cut flowers, pumpkins, mums, gourds, and much more. Free parkingwill be available at the market in several public parking areas throughout Historic Yorktown. The free Yorktown trolley runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
