With the election only 3 ½ months away, it’s time to get trained and start working! (Believe me, the other side is already on the ground getting voters!)
Remember – the only way we can win in November is if we get off our couches, move beyond just talking, and start putting our boots on the ground for our candidates!
The YC Republican Campaign Victory HQ is located at 3630 George Washington Memorial Hwy. (Rt. 17) across from the reservoir and next door to ‘Vineyards Christian Fellowship’ church in the Pilgrim Village Offices (just north of Victory Blvd & Walmart). Look for the patriotic bunting beneath the top 3 windows & the YCRC sign above the doors, facing Rt. 17. The HQ phone # is 757-849-3235. Stop by to volunteer, pick up yard signs & lit, and check out this great office!

è TODAY (7/25) – SATURDAY (7/28) – Phone Bank - The York County Republican HQ needs you NOW to make phone calls to start gathering information from voters and gauge our Get Out The Vote (GOTV) strength. We have scripts so you’ll know what to say to voters and forms to bubble-in their answers along with a few phones to use. Call the HQ Coordinator Yvonne McCoy (898-6212) or the YC HQ phone (849-3235) to pick a time to come in to make calls. We’re having a ‘friendly’ competition with the JCC HQ for the number of calls made and volunteers doing it, so we need your help to let everyone know that York County Republicans are FIRED UP TO WIN & WILLING TO WORK FOR VICTORY!
è SATURDAY, July 28 – D2D – Meet at HQ @ 9:30 am to get information then leave to walk by 10 am. We have RPV walklists for door-to-door (D2D) campaigning and scripts of what to say for the Coventry area for this Saturday. Please stop by the YC HQ to meet RPV’s Peninsula Victory Office Director Mike Young and get your information & quick training!
è SATURDAY, July 28 – LI TRAINING –The Leadership Institute’s day-long Grassroots “Campaign Boot Camp” Training class beginning at 9:15 am at the Mulberry Inn (16890 Warwick Blvd, NN) just off Ft. Eustis. This incredible course, right in our own backyard this weekend, includes light breakfast munchies, class materials, lunch, and books for only $25! The HRRWC is sponsoring a Republican Fellowship Breakfast featuring ACORN whistle-blower Anita Moncrief speaking on the corruption she witnessed in the ’08 election and why it is so important to remove Obama and his cronies from the White House! The cost is only $20 which includes your breakfast and incredible motivation from this amazing patriot! è REMINDER– there will not be a regular YCRC meeting in August. Instead, we will have our annual YCRC Family Picnic at the YC Campaign Victory HQ on Sunday, 19 Aug., from 2-6 pm. YCRC Exec. Vice Chairman Chad Green is organizing this event and will have more details soon. Please put this date on your calendar & plan to attend!
