Spring is coming with March and April activities in Historic Yorktown

Spring is around the corner.  Historic Yorktown continues to offer plenty of activities this March and April with the return of the Yorktown trolley and the Schooner Alliance, as well as concerts, literary teas, wine dinners, and a kite demonstration and gathering.  For a complete listing of events and activities, please visit www.visityorktown.org

Yorktown Freight Shed
Wipe the winter blues away as local musicians engage and interact with audience members. This week's entertainment will be provided by The H.M. Johnson Band (R&B, & Jazz). Sponsored by York County. Watermen's Museum (309 Water Street)
Tells the story of the maritime traditions of the Chesapeake Bay watermen. Open weekends beginning March 23rd 10am - 4pm on Saturday and 1pm - 4pm on Sunday. Museum opens for the season on Tuesday, April 2nd. Regular museum hours will be 10am - 4pm Tuesdays through Saturdays and 1pm - 4pm on Sundays through Thanksgiving. 309 Water Street. Admission. $ (757) 877.2641.
 
The free Yorktown Trolley will start its 13th year of service on Saturday, March 23. The trolley provides transportation throughout the village of Historic Yorktown from the Yorktown Battlefield to the Yorktown Victory Center, as well as several stops in between, including Riverwalk Landing. Operates daily March 23 - May 24 from 11 am to 5 pm daily with extended hours May 25 - Sept. 2 from 10 am to 5:30 pm daily and Sept. 3 -Nov 3 from 11am to 5pm daily. Free.
