In observance of the Christmas and New Year Holidays, the Waste Management Center's Administrative Offices located at 145 Goodwin Neck Road will be closed December 23, December 26, December 30 and January 2. The Waste Management Center including the Transfer Station, Citizen Drop Off, Recycling Center and the VPPSA Compost Facility will close at 11am on Christmas Eve, December 24 and New Year's Eve, December 31. The Waste Management Center will be open during regular business hours all other days.
Trash and Recycling collections will not be affected by the holidays and will occur on your regularly scheduled day of collection. Please place your receptacles at the curb by 7:00am on your regularly scheduled day to ensure collection.
Christmas trees will be collected during the weeks of January 2, 2012 and January 13, 2012. Please place trees at the curb by 7:00am on Monday of each collection week. Trees must be free of all lights, decorations and no longer than 6ft long in order to be collected. You may also bring them to the VPPSA Compost Facility located at 145 Goodwin Neck Road.
