In observance of the New Years Holiday, the Waste Management Center's Administrative Offices located at 145 Goodwin Neck Road will be closed Friday, December 30 and Monday, January 2. The Waste Management Center including the Transfer Station, Citizen Drop Off, Recycling Center and the VPPSA Compost Facility will close at 11am on New Year's Eve (Saturday) December 31. The VPPSA Compost Facility will be closed on Monday, January 2nd. The Waste Management Center will be open during regular business hours all other days.
Trash and Recycling collections will not be affected by the holiday and will occur on your regularly scheduled day of collection. Please place your receptacle(s) at the curb by 7:00am on your regularly scheduled day to ensure collection.
Christmas trees will be collected during the weeks of January 2, 2012 and January 13, 2012. Please place trees at the curb by 7:00am on Monday of each collection week. Trees must be free of all lights, decorations and no longer than 6ft long in order to be collected. You can also bring them to the VPPSA Compost Facility located at 145 Goodwin Neck Road.
