In just a few short weeks we as Virginians will go to the polls

to elect our next Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Attorney General and re-elect our House of Delegates.  Every vote matters and that is why it is imperative that you make sure your vote is counted and your voice is heard in this important election. The possibility of having a Governor McAuliffe is a frightening proposition as his stewardship would put Virginia on the wrong path in every major policy area. I implore you to do your part in order to help elect our entire team of Ken Cuccinelli, E.W. Jackson, and Mark Obenshain.

Recently it was announced that Virginia has regained the title of best place in the nation to do business. This ranking is in part a reflection of Virginia's natural beauty, agricultural blessings, and rich history. Another essential component to this success is the business friendly policies the Republican controlled General Assembly and Governor Bob McDonnell have been able to put in place. In order to continue this success we need a Cuccinelli governorship.

In order to elect the Republican ticket you must get out and vote and you can't vote if you are not registered! The deadline for registering to vote is this Tuesday, October 15. This can be done in the traditional manor by filing out and turning in the registration form or new this year, you may also begin the process of registering to vote online .

If you need to vote absentee you may do so one of two ways, by mail or in person. The form to request an absentee ballot can be found HERE . Below is a table outlining the addresses and times your local voter registrar's office is open if you chose to vote absentee in person. In addition to the hours mentioned, all offices will be open Saturday, October 26 and Saturday, November 2 from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. The last day to vote absentee in person is November 2. If you vote absentee by mail, your application must be received by 5:00pm on the Tuesday before the election.
