The child from Utah wasn't hurt on the field; he fell from the top of a bunk bed in the player dorm.   At first, his family has said, Easton Oliverson wasn't expected to survive the head injuries he'd suffered. He's had a lot of medical care, and his family's lawyer said he'll have effects forever. However, on Monday, the 13-year-old started eighth grade, thankfully.   The world series, meanwhile, started yesterday, including a game with the team from Pennsylvania.   Now, let's take a look at this morning's headlines. (Sean Simmers, PennLive.com) Today's talkers Blocking tents: PennDOT has filled what used to be a homeless encampment under the Mulberry Street bridge in Harrisburg with large rocks. The encampment has been fenced off and people relocated since the city deemed it a health problem. PennDOT officials said a few people recently broke into the bridge area, which is state-owned, and set up tents before being removed by police.   Emu's new home: An emu that had been wandering around Cumberland County after bolting from its pen about four weeks ago was corralled yesterday and sent to a new home.   Fracking and health: Children who lived closer to natural gas wells in western Pennsylvania were more likely to develop a relatively rare form of cancer, and nearby residents of all ages had an increased chance of severe asthma reactions, researchers said.   Home explosion deaths: A sixth person has died days after a house exploded in western Pa. His wife also was killed, along with three other adults and a child. The blast, which destroyed three houses and damaged a dozen more, is under investigation. Read more Food & drink Replacement restaurant: A veteran restaurant owner has purchased the former Ho Wah Asian eatery and plans to open a diner there soon.   Moving away: Cafe Fresco, a favorite for more than 20 years near the Harrisburg Mall in Swatara Township, is relocating to Lower Paxton Township ahead of a major highway expansion project.  See also: These stores, restaurants and warehouses are opening   Wawa's plans: Wawa is looking to move into Lebanon County, where it's planning a store at a former riding club in West Cornwall Township. See also: Aldi says it will buy Winn-Dixie  Read more Politics Pennsylvania + Georgia: Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis had a lot of Pennsylvania references in her 98-page indictment of former President Donald J. Trump over his efforts to void the 2020 presidential election. That was done, legal experts say, to show the actions were part of a larger criminal effort. Several people charged with Trump were part of a push to raise doubts about 2020 election results in Pennsylvania, too. He lives in Connecticut Read more Advertisement Police reports DNA leads to arrest: Investigators used DNA from a discarded coffee cup to link a man to a child sex abuse case from 1997 in Lancaster County. Two children reported a man sexually assaulted them along a road.   Boyfriend killed: A 17-year-old Lancaster County girl has been charged with murder after police say she stabbed to death her 19-year-old boyfriend after the two had been arguing all day.   Arson charges: Police charged a 69-year-old York County woman with arson and related charges after they say she started three fires around the home of a mayor over a trash-pickup dispute.   Shooting update: More serious charges have been filed against a man accused of firing 13 shots near a Cumberland County convenience store. A male was hit at least four times, police said. A year ago, a player was seriously injured when he fell out of his top bunk.
