GREAT CONTEST underway by Americans For Prosperity!

I believe we met when I attended the York meeting. I wanted to be sure that all of your friends who believe in Economic Freedom, Limited Government and Lower Taxes were aware of the contest we have going on in our area! We are just getting started so now is a great time to jump in!

Dear Patriot,

I have EXC ITING NEWS to share with you! We've put together an awesome competition that will add an additional level of excitement to our very focused effort of phone banking and neighborhood canvassing!

As your Eastern Virginia Field Coordinator with Americans for Prosperity we've designed a program which gives economic freedom loving individuals and groups an opportunity to make a difference and put our country back on a course to limited government and free markets! Your efforts will not only make a positive impact in your local area but will also help qualify you and your group for outstanding prizes.

The fifty most active phone banking and door knocking activists will not only qualify for terrific prizes, their efforts will also help raise money for their group! Participating Groups whose members, in aggregate, complete during the Contest Period the most surveys, as determined by AFP, will qualify for a scholarship in the following amounts:

First Prize: $1,000.00

Second Prize: $900.00

Third Prize: $800.00 . . .

(prizes go all the way to tenth prize at $100.00)

IN ADDITION there will be excellent weekly prizes awarded to the individuals who complete the most phone surveys or complete the most neighborhood canvassing! Those prizes will vary but here are just a few of the prizes that may be awarded:

· Training and Certification for a Concealed Carry Permit as well as target practice from Bob Starrer, owner of Historic Arms.

· Charter Fishing with Legacy Charter Fishing owned by Captain Bill Jenkins.

· Wine tasting at Williamsburg Winery given by President, Patrick Duffeler.

· American Heritage Annual Pass (For One person to the Jamestown Settlement and Yorktown Victory Center)

· Peninsula Fine Arts Center Individual Annual Pass

· Combination pass For Lee Hall Mansion, Endview Plantation and the Virginia War Museum

· Annual Pass to Norfolk Zoo for two

· Family Membership to the Mariners Museum

· One year annual pass to any Virginia State Park including boat or horse trailer: Parking, Admission and Boat Launching to all State Parks and Plus Package amenities

· One year annual FAMILY membership to Nauticus

· Virginia Aquarium & Marine Science Center Membership (Otter Level)

· Access to special Leadership Institute courses

As you can see we've added a great way for you to not only qualify for some outstanding incentives from AFP for yourself, but also to give a great benefit to the non-partisan group you support! This contest will run from September 1 to September 30 so it is very important that you SIGN UP as soon as possible with Melody Scalley in order to participate!
