Here's what happens in the current York County BoS based on our outdated ward only system.

Each member represents a district.

Each one wants special spending in their district.

Each member supports each others' special project .

Everyone gets what they want.

Taxes go up...to pay for the pork.

District rep BoS members get re-elected...

Taxes go up more !!

We need more county-wide representation on the BoS.

Is this a good way for the York County citizens to spend $574,000 in a recession? Total cost is almost 3 million. Since the BoS is considering raising taxes, should this be tabled?
