Yowie Wednesday/Guy Fawkes Saturday/Petitioning Voters Tuesday]

Great meeting you Rob.  Below's the email just blasted to Virginia's volunteers for Governor Gary Johnson.  It has the link for tonight's online townhall, a reminder about Saturday's moneybomb, and the request to help get some signatures during Tuesday's voting.  If you'd like to accept leadership for the peninsula, or just help out, I could use someone to collect signatures at tomorrow's York County GOP meeting.

If you can help out tomorrow, just print out the attached petition on legal sized paper, write "Gary E. Johnson" at the top, copy front and back, and on a legal sized clipboard bring several copies so eligible voters in different counties and cities can sign separate petitions.  Once a petition is filled, it gets notarized (TD Bank's notary is free for anyone) and mailed to:

Charles Frohman
6228 Weathersfield Way
Williamsburg, VA 23188

P.S. Please join and invite other Virginia residents to join our state campaign Facebook page and state campaign Meetup Group.

Thanks!

Dear Virginia supporters of Governor Gary Johnson,

Just a few things, if you have a second.

First, Wednesday at 8 the owner of the Philadelphia Flyers is psyched that his favorite candidate is the subject of the first internet town meeting on his Yowie.com.  Mark your calendars and click on the Yowie tomorrow.  If you can invite your friends, Governor Johnson really is hoping this is a big event.  RSVP here, please.

Second, if you could email the leader of your region below, they need to know that you're available to help them raise awareness in your congressional district for the candidate.  Your Virginia campaign leaders are:

NoVa - Robert
lauradelhomme@gmail.com
Fairfax - Ian
ian.luria@gmail.com
Fredericksburg - Juanita
officeworks@cavtel.net
Charlottesville - Doug
douna@cfw.com
Richmond - Mark
Mark@snipesproperties.com
Roanoke - John
john@brilldesigns.org
Tidewater - Steve
sfrooman@gmail.com
Blacksburg - Eric
esmitt10@vt.edu

Email them now to introduce yourself, and ask them for an update on what the campaign is doing in your area.

Third, because the media and RNC inexplicably are excluding the governor from the polls, he's not being allowed to even qualify for the debates.  Thus, we must go direct to the grassroots to raise name ID, a prerequisite to fundraising which pays for commercials which further raise name ID.  To do this you can invite a few friends to your house, or to a private room in a pub or community center nearby, in what's called a hangout.  Robert's already hosting one at his Alexandria house Friday, November 11th, so email him for information how one arranges a hangout, or to get directions to attend his.  Future hangout dates have themes:  Nov 18 (for students and those interested in online poker and the Drug War), Nov 18 (for Tea Partiers and those wanting to cut government), Dec 1 (for those concerned with minority rights including civil liberties and gay discrimination) and Dec 9 (for those wanting a right to work and to protect the 2nd amendment).  Click here to learn more.

Fourth, an easy way to collect signatures is to merely show up at meetings hosted by folks who already think like you and know why you need help with petitioning.  Click on the state GOP calendar, various VA tea party events pages, Republican Liberty Caucus VA chapters, and VA Libertary Party events page, and please take the attached petition with you.  Print it out on legal sized paper, write "Gary E. Johnson" at the top, copy front and back, and bring several copies on a legal clipboard because eligible voters in different cities and counties must sign separate petition pages.  Upon completion of a petition, kindly get it notarized at your bank and mail to:

Charles Frohman
6228 Weathersfield Way
Williamsburg, VA 23188

Fifth, this Tuesday marks a great day to not only vote, but also to invite voters to sign a petition.  If you click here you can find your polling place.  We need 10,000 signature by Dec 22nd, to add the governor to the March 6 primary ballot.  Even if you collect just 20 signatures, if you can get other volunteers to do the same we can pull off a miracle.

Finally, on November 5th we're hosting a "moneybomb", in honor of Guy Fawkes revolt against the government.  "Remember, remember, the 5th of November".  Please consider $55, $25 or whatever you think the campaign needs to make a good push towards the holidays.

Speaking of revolts, did you see the video of the governor speaking with the Wall Street Occupiers?  We need to open our campaign to independents and disaffected Democrats, not just Republicans displeased with the so-called frontrunners.

In sum, please RSVP for Wednesday's Yowie.com town meeting, email your regional volunteer leader to find out what the campaign's doing in your congressional district, collect a few signatures when you vote next week and at local activists' meetings, and consider hosting a fun, no-holds-barred hangout.

P.S. Please join and invite other Virginia residents to join our state campaign Facebook page and state campaign Meetup Group.

P.P.S. Don't forget to call in our weekly conference call 8:30pm Mondays!  888-998-2663; code 2634917.

Thank you all!  (Just reply with unsubscribe if you're no longer interested in electing the best candidate).
