Republican Committee Changed: There are few opportunities that allow for in-depth exchange of ideas and information between our County officials and citizens, so the Research & Issues Standing Committee of the YCRC is sponsoring the York County Budget Forum to discuss the FY14 York County Budget. Location will be Tabb Middle School. Invitees include Members of the York County Board of Supervisors, the York County School Board, and key York County staff members. All citizens are also invited. Mr. Chad Green, Executive Vice Chairman of the YCRC, will be the evening's moderator. Questions for the Q & A session will be submitted by cards, and screened by a panel from the YCRC Research and Issues Standing Committee. Individuals must identify themselves on the question card, and they will be permitted a follow-up oral question if the answers provided are not clear. Mr. Green will ensure smooth and civil proceedings. He will also ensure we stick to the topic and related items (i.e., the budget, taxes, and assessments).
