Thank You South Carolina Tour
This week, Newt and Callista were in South Carolina for the "Thank You South Carolina" tour. On Monday, they hosted a book signing at Global Trade Park in Greenville. Newt then participated in a special Town Hall Forum hosted by Conservative Talk 94.5 and The South Carolina GOP. On Wednesday, Newt offered remarks at the South Carolina Energy & Opportunity Forum in Myrtle Beach.

No US Troops in Syria

Charity of the Month: Boston Marathon Relief Fund
Our thoughts and prayers in the past few weeks have been with the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings, a horrific act of terror which devastated many innocent lives, killing three young people and injuring hundreds of others. Please join us at this critical time in supporting our May Charity, the Boston Marathon Relief Fund. The Boston Marathon Relief Fund has been established by the Injured Marine Semper Fi Fund, and all donations go directly to support those injured in the Boston attacks.


Energy and Infrastructure: The South Carolina Opportunity
If the Obama administration would end its crushing ban on exploration and development in the Atlantic, then states like South Carolina, which was hit hard in the recession, could raise billions based on the potential revenues from oil and gas reserves and finance the infrastructure improvements it badly needs. Last Saturday, April 27th, Newt and Callista attended the annual White House Correspondents' Dinner, presented by the White House Correspondents' Association in Washington, DC.
