The Junior League of Hampton Roads presents the 1st Annual “Touch a Truck”, Saturday May 19th from 10am-3pm in the Peninsula Town Center parking lot in Hampton. Kids of all ages can climb, discover and explore vehicles of all shapes and sizes! Meet the people who build, protect and serve Hampton Roads community with hands-on access to the vehicles they use each day. Operation KidSafe—Free Child Safety Program - This Mothers Day weekend, Mike Duman is bringing Operation KidSafe to Hampton Roads. This system produces a lifetime safety record of your child and only the parent gets a record of the visit. If there is ever an emergency, Operation Kidsafe will have parents better prepared to hand law enforcement what they need to act fast. Safety tips and education are also provided at this free Kidsafe event. On Friday, May 11, it’s at Mike Duman Chevrolet-Buick-GMC in Franklin from noon to 5; and on Saturday at Mike Duman Auto Sales in Suffolk from 10 to 3.
