Robert -- The final three weeks of an election are like nothing else. It's when we put aside all of the talk about what might happen in this race, roll up our sleeves, and do what it takes to win, because this election has enormous consequences for women. So we have to show up and help get out the vote for our guy. The hard work and dedication of volunteers across the country is what will help put President Obama and other Democrats over the top. Supporters are coming out for shifts morning, noon, and night this Saturday -- to make calls to our neighbors, and to knock on doors to talk with voters. We need you there, too. Step it up for the final stretch. Not only is it really important to pitch in now -- it's a whole lot of fun, and I bet you'll want to do it more than once. Sign up for at least two shifts in Yorktown this weekend. What: Weekend of action Meet at: 4318 George Washington Memorial Hghwy Yorktown, VA 23692 When: Saturday, October 20th Starting at 10:00 am Or check out all the other events near you this weekend. With less than three weeks until Election Day, there's not much time to get this right and make sure women are doing everything we can to re-elect President Obama and support Democrats up and down the ticket. We can't afford to stay home -- the stakes are too high for us and our families. Mitt Romney wants to overturn Roe vs. Wade, denying women the right to choose, and defund Planned Parenthood. He hasn't been willing to stand up for the Paycheck Fairness Act, and his tax cuts on the wealthy would come at the expense of our families' economic security. President Obama is the only presidential candidate advocating for women's rights. So we have to get out there and get his back. There will be tons of Obama supporters out in force this Saturday -- brand-new volunteers, and people with years of experience under their belts. It will be fast-paced, and the amount of ground we can cover in a matter of hours will leave you breathless. But if you're anything like me, you'll be ready to do it all over again as soon as your shift is through. Don't miss a minute. Sign up for one or more volunteer shifts now -- and let's win this election: http://my.barackobama.com/Take-Action-This-Weekend Down to the wire, Rachel Rachel Haltom-Irwin National Get Out the Vote Director Obama for America P.S. -- First Lady Michelle Obama has a special message just for women -- take a look, then pass it along to all the women in your life.
