York County Waste Management Center closing at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 29

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

                       

     The Waste Management Center located at 145 Goodwin Neck Road will close at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 29. This includes the recycling center, transfer station, citizen drop-off and the VPPSA compost facility.

     Trash Collection will be completed by 2 p.m. today. The Administrative Office will be open until 4 p.m.

     The Waste Management Center is extending its hours of operation on Tuesday, October 30: 

·         Waste Management Center, recycling center, transfer station and citizen drop off will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

·         VPPSA compost facility will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

 

     Regular operating hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. will resume on Wednesday, October 31. For more information, call the York County Waste Management Center at 890-3780.
